What is a "FUNDAMENTALS CLASS"?

The fundamental classes are for beginner through professionally geared students and can be attended as a DROP IN or monthly series. What we cover in the fundamentals classes apply to each student in different ways depending on previous studies. The classes stress placement of arms and feet, all located in the core and abdominal regions, through compas. Having an articulate and strong center is what shapes the "dynamics" of the feet and the staccato or lyrical quality or the arms and marking steps (otherwise known as "bailando con sus entranas"). The classes can be attended as a monthly or on a DROP IN bases as learning "steps" is not the objective of the class.

*This class will perform in conjunction w the 40th ANNUAL PILSEN EAST ARTIST'S OPEN HOUSE opening night on Oct 1st 8p.This event allows a rare view of the artist's creative environment. Enjoy more than 65 artist's studios, galleries, and residences at South Halsted and 18th Streets in Chicago, during the city's longest running Artist's Open House Oct 1st through 3rd.
