Clinard Dance brings together people from a diverse range of artistic disciplines and cultural backgrounds pioneering a unique approach to contemporary and American-style flamenco.
Their works push the limits of both a traditional flamenco quartet format and their original content driven works.

 

 

 

Upcoming Classes

Summer Session

This 6-week session begins July 16th and runs through August 26.

 The intensive is designed to challenge and expand on current studies at Clinard Dance as well as welcome and encourage new students. The session  "kicks off" with guest flamenco master Africa, la de la Farona, daughter of the dynasty maker, el Farruca. Africa will guest teach to set the tone for a summer of heartfelt and challenging studies on July 16th and July 17th.

SPRING TO DANCE® returns for its 11th year! As one of the region’s must-see festivals, SPRING TO DANCE brings together more than 25 professional dance companies from across the country and beyond for two unique, exhilarating nights of nonstop dance over Memorial Day weekend.

From ballet, modern and contemporary to flamenco, hip-hop and more, the vibrant festival offers something for everyone with a distinct, dynamic program each night.
